Stila Loves Roxy: Beach Must-Have!

This month, Stila  has teamed up with the surfer inspired label, Roxy, to create a fabulous makeup line.  With bronzey goddesses in mind, like myself, this line is bringing you the perfect sun kissed look without the sun.  The Stila Loves Roxy collection includes 7 of Stila’s most loved products.  During my quick touch-up a couple of weeks ago, the products that I loved the most were the Waterproof Sparkly Eye Liner in Sequins ($22), the Lip Glaze in Apricot ($22), and the bronzer included in one of the Stila and Roxy Travel Palettes ($14 for 1 palette). 

This line is a great investment for the beach babes who want the perfect long-wearing makeup that takes you from hot summer days to cool summer nights.

Passion can usually be defined by any strong feelings someone has toward someone or something.  These emotions create desires and feelings of determination toward achieving certain goals.  The term can be associated with love, hate, happiness, sadness…you get the point.  You can have all the desires in the world, but without passion there is no point.

Beauty can be pure.  Beauty should be pure.  Often times, there are preconceived premises for what people learn to define as beauty.  There are other instances, were people only view beauty one way. For me, beauty is simple.  If you can strip someone down into their purest form, and still see beauty —that is beautiful.

Runway Beauty with Cushnie Et Ochs

Tis the season, Happy Fashion Week to all my diva’s and divo’s…how u doin?! I had the opportunity to see a couple of backstage  beauty looks for the Cushnie Et Ochs fashion show.  Check it out!

The beauty looks put together for the models to wear at the Cushnie Et Ochs Show were fresh, subtle, and classic.  Inspired by Native American culture, MAC makeup artists went for  soft makeup shades.  The hair stylists added simple feathered hair accessories, and very neatly pulled back buns. I believe the complete look represented “peace and serenity.” The nails were out of this world!  Celebrity Nail Technician, Pattie Yankee, of Dashing Diva Nail Salon put together a beaded nail look which was called the “Caviar” nail.  The beads that were placed on top of the polish are actually from the Cushnie Et Ochs collection.  This was a very unique idea as it complimented the sexy yet classy collection.
